I loved and hated the game. Graphics are unreal, but we are not playing games for the graphics (at least I'm not playing because of that reason). The biggest problem I had was the gameplay, melee combat and the combat in general. It feels so clunky and 2 steps down when compared to Dead Space. Only few weapons in the game, and small issues like tank movements combined with tight spaces makes your life harder. How many times I got killed just because the camera was somewhere else, and the monsters just took advantage of well, me.
Only 1 real boss fight? Really? What the hell?! I expected much more epic fights, strategies, puzzles... No puzzles? Ok, I can live with that. I also don't mind that the game is one long hallway - it works pretty good when there are detailed environments and pickups that you need for the next section.
I had 1 crash, and 20 glitches like logs not being saved after I died. I had to repeat some section just to trigger an auto-save somewhere further from the pickup in order for it to count. It just messes with my sanity.
Story was ok-ish, nothing specials. It feels like we've seen this already, and they really need more context when telling a story.
Overall, not bad, not awesome, but good. Maybe wait for some bug fixes and then play the game, it doesn't even have NG+, and it should have it. Also, more weapons, more enemy variety and maybe not invest 90% of your budget into graphics?
