https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBe4qaS6n_sFor its first project, Kojima said, "I’m thinking smaller-scale, not too many people, and focusing on game creation at first." From there, Kojima says it’s possible the studio could expand beyond games.
“We’ll have more agility,” he said. “We’ll be able to do things that are more edgy, preserving the quality we’ve had so far, while at the same time finding new challenges and exploring new areas.”
"It's thanks to Sony that I was able to make a splash in the global market. It's been 10-plus years since then and the working relationship at Sony, the people at Sony, we gel well. People at Sony have been friendly with me, I work well with them. I got several offers from many different companies, but with Sony it came to a point where I know these people, we know each other well. I feel like this is an environment where I will be able to make something and be comfortable. And I believe that is the environment I need right now."

"I want to create something that’s what people expect, but at the same time will have something new that people haven’t seen before," Kojima said, noting specifically that "it will be a complete game."
The New Yorker Kojima interview #1
Now that his employment contract has expired, Kojima is able to speak freely about what he describes as a “new start”—a relaunched, independent Kojima Productions. (He remains, however, contractually forbidden from talking about the prior split.)
If you’re only focussed on the profits immediately in front of you, the times will leave you behind,” he said. “It becomes impossible to catch up again.”
For Kojima, the future involves ridding himself of distracting responsibilities. “When working in big companies, especially Japanese companies, every little thing has to be approved beforehand, and you need paperwork to do anything,” he said. “Now that I’m independent, I can do what I want with much more speed. I don’t need to invest time in unnecessary presentations. I shoulder the risk.” He also relishes the chance to speak his mind. “When I was in a company, my personal statements could be taken as the over-all direction of the company. As such, I couldn’t say just anything.”
In the weeks following his departure from Konami, Kojima considered taking a mind-cleansing trip to a deserted island for a year. When he explained the plan to “a Hollywood friend,” he was cautioned against it. Kojima owed it to his own talent, the friend said, to keep up the pace. “Hearing that affirmed to me that my role in this world is to keep on making big games for as long as I can,” Kojima said. “That is the mission I’ve been given in life.”

Mislim logo ko logo IMO ne znam što je tu genijalno."Well, I'm sure you'll see the bigger picture eventually."
"If you get out of here alive."

Julien Merceron talks divorce between Konami and Hideo Kojima
Dual Shockers attended a conference held at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris of which former Konami Worldwide Technology Director Julien Merceron talked about the divorce between the Konami and Hideo Kojima.
It’s important to have trust. The development team all trusted Kojima-san, even if he was one of the few who really knew where the game was going. The team was fully behind Kojima-san.
According to Merceron, Kojima-san believed in himself and in the team. The result is that the game has become profitable just in a few weeks, with a Metacritic score over 90. The first lesson learned from this, is that you must believe in Kojima-san.
Merceron continued by explaining that he lived the crisis between Konami and Hideo Kojima in real time. In March there was an argument between the Management of Konami and Kojima-san, which brought about the news that everyone saw, including the fact that the studio would be renamed and that Kojima-san’s name would disappear from the game’s boxes, the removal of Kojima-san himself from the staff, and his new status as a contractor.
At that time the staff was at GDC (The Game Developers Conference in San Francisco), and that’s where Merceron learned about the situation. When he returned to Tokyo, Kojima-san talked to the team, saying “Don’t worry, we’re going to finish our game, we will give everything we have to give, and then we will see.”
According to Merceron, Kojima-san did not change his way of working. He didn’t change anything at all, and behaved like before. Merceron can’t imagine how Kojima-san was able to cope with the situation, but he was really strong. He gave his team a feeling of confidence to go on and finish the project.
The members of the team asked themselves a lot of questions, they hoped that the game would be released and be successful, and that it would cause Konami to go back on its decision, so that the team could start working on a new Metal Gear.
Merceron hoped to continue working with Kojima-san for years at Konami, also on other franchises. He hoped to revive Silent Hill and more. Without Kojima-san there might be others in his place, but it won’t be the same. He was the one who brought Merceron to the company, so he could not stay at Konami after the creator of Metal Gear Solid had left.
People ask all the time why this is "A Hideo Kojima Game".
Well here is the answer:
Merceron didn’t really know what to expect from Hideo Kojima, as he knew him just as a friend. Since he did a lot of public relations and marketing, Merceron thought that maybe he was like a figurehead, with a lot of underlings doing everything from him, like game design and narrative design.
When they started to work together, Merceron was absolutely amazed. Kojima-san takes care of everything himself. He does marketing, Creativity on P.T “from A to Z,” the same with Metal Gear, he worked on the game design and on the story. Something not many knoz is that after Metal Gear Solid 4 was finished and work on Fox Engine started Kojima-san was among those who designed the technology. He’s a true technology enthusiast, and he wanted an engine that could represent him and that allowed him to deliver the experiences he aspired to create.
At first Merceron thought he would have to talk to Kojima-san in very simple terms, but that wasn’t the case at all. Kojima-san was beyond his expectations in everything: in the ideas he had, in his passion for his work, in his knowledge of technology, and even more so in his mastery of his vision. According to Merceron, he has never met anyone else who knows exactly how his game is going to look like before even seeing it.

A ne da imam neka bijesna očekivanja jer, eto, Hideo Kojima is in love with Sony.
Shadow Fall i danas ubija.
U Sonyu imaju odlične pokretače i hrpu talentiranih programera.
