To summarize, here is what the Game Pass Starter formula specifically offers:
Streaming games (10 hours per month)

More than 50 games playable on PC, console and other media
Available everywhere: PC, console, compatible devices

Here too, we could expect the Starter list to be identical to that of the Essential but this will not really be the case. Indeed, there are some small differences.
For example:
Doom 64 or Psychonauts (PC version) will be present in the Starter, while they are absent from the Essential.
Conversely, Goat Simulator, available until April 30 in the Essential, will not be offered in the Starter.
It is possible that these differences are related to an upcoming update of the Essential catalog, but for the moment, the two lists are not perfectly aligned.
Another interesting detail, free-to-play games like Call of Duty Warzone will not have a "Game Pass Starter" tag, contrary to what we see in the Essential.
