Sony has finally announced how UK fans can buy one of the 20th Anniversary PlayStation 4s online and it's complicated.
At 11am GM today, an image will be posted on the PlayStation website showing over 300 characters from the history of the platform. The PlayStation UK and GAME Twitter accounts will then tweet a cryptic clue at around 4pm, referring to one of those characters.
If you can identify the character to whom the cryptic clue refers, you should go back to the original image and click the character in question. If you get it right you will be taken to GAME's website, where you'll be able to place an order for the console.
The first 100 people to successfully do this are guaranteed to be able to purchase the anniversary edition PS4, while the rest get entered into a prize draw.
There will be five chances to get in on the action this week. PlayStation UK and GAME will be also tweeting cryptic clues to different characters on Tuesday at 5pm, Wednesday at 2pm, Thursday at 8am and Friday at 12p too.
The terms and conditions of the competition limit one console to one person and you have to live in the UK and be over 18.
PlayStation 4's 20th Anniversary Edition was announced a couple of weeks back. It's a PlayStation 1-themed PS4 with gorgeous detailing harking back to the birth of the brand. Only 12,300 of the consoles are being made.
Last week, Sony opened a 1990s themed pop-up shop in London and sold the sought-after PS4s to the first 94 people in the queue for just £19.94 (I take it you're noticing the theme here). Further units were sold for the limited edition's standard price of £399.99.
Since then, a number of the super sexy consoles have popped up on eBay for thousands of pounds.
