You play as humanity's last remaining survivor in a single player title heavily focused on narrative.
Tides of Annihilation is designed to evoke "classic action games" with a fast-paced combat system that allows for some experimentation through the use of over 10 Spectral Knights. They appear to lend you extra powers to help shape your fighting style and unlock new combos. Battles are fought against huge mobile knights, which are first described as "vertical challenges".
This is all set against the backdrop of a "broken modern London", where you shall get to visit some of its most famous landmarks
